Born in China, currently live in Dublin, Ireland.
My name is Jialin. I am an image maker and I mainly work with portraiture and documentary photography. My recent work explores family and home as a new mother and how people react to fear. I have a special interest in film and analog processes.
My most recent work is called "Androgynous". It is a portraiture series where participates were invited to express their gender in a way that was comfortable and free to how they view themselves. I am also working on a long term documentary project with my children called "Every Saturday".
Currently I am finishing my BA(Hons) Photography in IADT and always looking for people to collaborate with.
