Our vision and perception together with time and light has shaped how we see reality in this world. When a wave of light is transformed and absorbed as a photon, the energy of the wave instantly collapses to a single location, and this location is where the photon “arrives.”

This body of work was made with a large format camera on 4’x5’ film negatives. The negatives absorbed the photon from a different time at that location, and when the viewer is looking at them in this present moment, you’re watching the preserved light that was captured in the past — a notion of “time travel” is established.
